The Web Demographic Theory has been made in three phases: Phase 1 involved lots of questions in emails to participants all over the globe: Phase 2 was the formulation of the original Theory - put out there on the web for scrutiny: Phase 3 is where we are now - our team of data miners have re-assessed the Theory in the light of the feedback received in response to Phase 2.

Is this a return visit for you?

If you are already familiar with the Web Demographic Theory, as participant, voter or audience, you will not necessarily want to re-examine the Phase 2 pages where the data miners demonstrated the theories, and so you'll probably only need to view the Phase 3 stuff - the feedback generated by the theories and the conclusions drawn by the data miners. Lost ?

As a result of the phased production of the Web Demographic Theory, there are two parts to the Web Demographic website. The (earlier) Phase 2 website was published in May 2003 and remains pretty much intact, within this current (later) Phase 3 website. The easiest way to tell whether you are looking at Phase 2 or Phase 3 is by checking the colour of the pages. If the pages are mostly green and brown (like this one) they are Phase 3 (outer) pages. If the pages are purple and blue then they are Phase 2 (inner) pages.
