First coined by data miner DN, this refers to the exception/counter example that may prove or demolish a standing Theory.

Evil Kinneval was spurred on to make several reckless world record attempts but was not from, or living in, Scotland. However, geneological study reveals that it was when the youthful Kinneval was holidaying in Galloway that, egged on by a group of boy scouts outside the Galashiels Chipper, he attempted to leap over a row of oil drums on a borrowed Chopper. This formative experience set the tone for his life’s work.
